Pleasant Goat Founder Gifts 2000 Books to Local Children

September 30, 2011 (Chongqing, China) - Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf founder, Mr. Jonathan So, appeared at the Third Western Animation Festival in Chongqing where he donated more than 2,000 books to the South Bay Primary School.

The donated books, included “Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf,” “The Green Book of Fairy Tales,” “Andersen’s Fairy Tales” and many more for the children to read.

Mr. So said that his focus is not only to the animation industry, but also to the importance of children reading. “I am engaged in animation, which is inseparable from the interaction with the children,” said Mr. So.  ”After learning that some of the Chongqing children like to read comic books, but their families can’t afford books, I had the idea to donate, to do something for their benefit.”  

The purpose of the donation is to engage more children to have a love of reading books, thus enriching their lives.
